Talk to your Mac.
Watch it type.
Press a key and speak. Rember types your words as you say them, and the moment you stop it pastes the lot into whatever you were working in. Every bit of it runs on your Mac, in real time, for free.
How it works
Press. Talk. Done.
There is no window to open and nothing to click. Rember waits in the menu bar until you need it.
Press the key
Option-Space from anywhere. A small panel drops from the notch, or floats mid-screen if you prefer, and starts listening.
Say it
Words appear in the panel as you speak, not after. You can see the sentence forming while it is still in your mouth.
Press it again
The panel slides away and the text is pasted where your cursor was. Tidied up, if you asked for that. Nothing to copy.
Features
Everything you need.
Nothing you don't.
Types while you talk
Streaming speech recognition puts words on screen the instant they are heard. No waiting at the end for a transcript to arrive.
Pastes when you stop
Stop the recording and the result lands in the app you were in, at your cursor. Mail, Slack, a terminal, a text field in a browser.
Stays on your Mac
Apple Speech, Parakeet and Whisper models run locally. No account, no servers, no analytics. Your voice never leaves the machine.
Formatting modes
Clean, Formal, Question, Notes, Call Notes, or your own prompt. Apple Intelligence or a small on-device language model tidies the words without changing what you meant.
Lives in the notch
The recording panel hangs from the camera housing with a live waveform and the words as they come. Or float it mid-screen. Either way it is gone the moment you are done.
Every recording kept
Audio, the exact words and the formatted version, all in a folder in your Documents. Replay it, copy it again, or delete it.
Call notes
Mix the other side of a call into the recording with a CoreAudio tap. No screen recording permission, no virtual audio device.
Your words, spelled right
Add names, products and jargon to a vocabulary list and they come out the way you write them, every time.
Free, signed, updated
Developer ID signed and notarised by Apple. Updates arrive in the app. No subscription, no trial, no upsell.
